Long-term scientific collaboration depends on continuity across institutions.
After more than a decade of involvement with RadioNet, I am stepping down as Spokesperson of the RadioNet Consortium. I welcome Rob Beswick (University of Manchester) as the new Spokesperson and Agnieszka Słowikowska (JIVE-ERIC) as Vice-Spokesperson. From coordinating RadioNet EU projects between 2012 and 2020 to the establishment of the self-sustained RadioNet Consortium in 2021, this network has grown into a durable framework connecting Europe’s radio astronomy infrastructures and institutions, and has been recognized by the OECD as a model for research infrastructure ecosystems.
